Prior to my return to study I spent many happy years working in London in advertising. My early training enabled me to become a graphic designer, typographer and exhibition designer. I have been an artist all my life and my role during my advertising years was as art-director, creative director and board director. It was a very fulfilling and successful career creatively.

With the advent of my children I made a decision to follow my passion and study fine art. I have always made and sold work so it was a way for me to formalise academically what has always been a motivating force in my life.
